6'6", 225 lbs, and Itching to Fight - 2009/09/20 23:17 Hello, everyone.

One of the many things I'd really like to do with my life is learn mixed martial arts and fight competitively. I have no experience other than occasionally throwing on the gloves and slugging it out with my buddies.
I've worked out on and off for a few years, but never put 100% into it. At this point, I'm in pretty good shape for the average Joe, but I'm completely unconditioned. I'm 6'6" and about 225 pounds. I'm fairly lean, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a bit of fat that could come off. At the same time, I want to build muscle and tone my physique. So, I'm pretty sure my fighting weight would be at least 230.
Right now, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to attend, but I'd really like to, so any advice and/or information (including prices) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
