Interested in taking classes at MMA institute - 2007/08/09 22:13 Yea names dustin and im thinking about taking up classes at the institute.I've been wrestling for 4 years been on varsity since i was a freshman.I wrestle 189 so i like to through ppl a lot like lateralls, head tosses, arm tosses, and things like that when i get on the ground i like to throw legs and crossbody ride.Thats a little bit about my wrestling side.My friend has got me into Okinawa Isshinryu fighting style at his martial arts place. But his place doesnt have the condintioning i want to have in my off season off wrestling so i was wondering if this place had good condintioning classes and also i wouldnt mind learning some muay thai lessons. Learn how to use them elbows. Also like to learn some bjj to help me in wrestling so maybe i can be a state champ by my senior year.

Re:Interested in taking classes at MMA institute - 2007/08/13 22:54 Hey Dustin,

Come on in and take a trial class.

Wrestling is a great base for MMA. We have very good conditioning classes that will keep you in shape for wrestling.

Re:Interested in taking classes at MMA institute - 2007/08/22 13:00 I have about 3 1/2 years of Muay Thai experience (Trident Academy of Martial Arts in Woodbridge, VA with Pat Tray) and was looking to get back into it. I was wondering what your pricing was since I couldn't find anything on your website. Thanks.

Re:Interested in taking classes at MMA institute - 2007/08/22 16:52 Hey subterGeorge,

Stop by and take a free intro class. If you stop by on Tuesday or Thursday you could take both a Muay thai and a grappling class in the same night. If you are interested in strictly BJJ stop by on monday, tues, wed. or friday evening.

We have a couple of different contracts. For a yearly contract it is $120 a month. For a month to month contract it is $135 a month with 2 months down and a 30 day written notice to cancel. Once a member you are more than welcome to take any class we offer as long as your skill level permits.

As far as training times you can check out our schedule at www.mmainstitute.com.

If you have any questions email or call anytime.
