November 8 Fights go 8-2

MMA Institute finishes November 8th fights with 8 wins, 2 losses

Amateur fighters from MMA Institute dominated events in Virginia and Maryland on Saturday, November 8, 2008.  At Valhalla in Sterling, Virginia, Bryan Lashamb finished fast with a rear naked choke in the first round.  Also taking a round one submission was Kenny Gaudreau, finishing his fight by armbar.  The judges determined a unanimous win for Cody Toy, who went the distance in the bloodiest fight of the night.  Although Steven Wampler and Mitch Harris were unable to come away with a victory, both displayed excellent stand up striking throughout the entire length of their fights.

In Lynchburg, Virginia, all MMA Institute fighters took home a win.  Making his MMA debut, Herman Brar landed several impressive overhand rights which led to his win by TKO from strikes in the first round.  Patrick McCauley and Shai Kelly stepped into the cage for the first time as well and proved to the judges they were worthy of the win.  Despite being matched up against a larger opponent, Justin Kritley kept his undefeated record unblemished with a unanimous decision.

Even boxers need to beware of the MMA fight team as proved by Chad Brown who won his boxing debut in Baltimore, Maryland.

Congratulations to all fighters for your impressive efforts before and during your fights!
